who created laughter yoga ?
- Laughter yoga (Hasyayoga) is developed or created by a Indian Physician Dr. Madan Kataria in the year 1995.
- First the doctor gathered patients to form a group of member around 5 - 6 people to laugh by using certain jokes , but after jokes run out in week, then the doctor made them laugh without any stimulus to begin studying the benefits of laughter.
- Now the Laughter yoga club has grown around the world with thousands of groups among 60 countries.
- And the Laughter yoga institute became a first introduced in the year 2006 by Jeffrey Briar.
- Similar yoga trend of Silent disco yoga can be helpful in calming a restless mind with the help of awesome yoga tunes blasted directly to ears using headsets.

What is Laughter Yoga ?
- Laughter yoga is done by people voluntarily make them laugh by spontaneous laughing.
- Laughter yoga can be started with simple warm ups like stretching,breathing exercise and clapping.
- This yoga of laughter is mostly done by groups because the laughter with more people can form a infectious and reflective impulse or trigger.
Scientific research on Laughter Yoga :
- According to a scientific study states that even a forced fake laugh can give positive effects to mind health.
- In the year 1979 a research shows that even a crippling disease can be cured by using laughter.
- Therapeutic Laughter Practice done in Japan shows that even one 30 minutes session per week can improves moods in the elderly people.
- A research shows that the Routine stress can cause Harmful health problems like heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, depression, and anxiety disorder.
- Another Iran Study done on 37 cancer patient before chemotherapy shows lesser stress and anxiety.
