- Scientist found a way to use for medicinal property of salt in therapeutic system known as the Halotherapy.
- Halotherapy, derived from the greek word alas meaning salt, but many doctors claims it lack evidence and studies to state the medicinal value.
- There various types of halotherapy
- Saline solution inhalations
- Dry salt aerosol inhalations
- Irrigation and lavage
- Saline and brine baths
- Taking the waters (crenotherapy)
